In un contesto naturale in provincia di Perugia, un intervento di sistemazione di un tratto carraio ha contemplato anche il consolidamento di un ponte medievale in pietra che necessitava di un rinforzo ed un adeguamento funzionale per il passaggio di alcune linee di servizio. La posa di fasciature in carbonio all’estradosso del ponte è stato eseguito con materiali Fibre Net (Sistema Betontex Epoxy) ed ha visto l’abbinamento di tessuti in CFRP con barre e fiocchi in carbonio per la realizzazione di microcuciture trasversali.

In the surrounding of Perugia, a country road leads to a medieval bridge over the Nera river; the structure in blocks of stone was probably built on an existing Roman construction. Recently in that area some urbanizations works have been made and meanwhile the bridge has been the object of a structural consolidation.
The extrados reinforcement has been made with a combination of Fibre Net carbon fibre fabrics, ribbed bars and epoxy resins (Betontex system).
