Nel centro storico di Copertino, Comune in provincia di Lecce nel Salento occidentale, il Castello Angioino è stato oggetto di un intervento di restauro conservativo e protezione delle superfici lapidee che ha coinvolto Mapei.
Dopo un rilievo con tecnologia Laser Scanner, seguito da un’analisi condotta dai laboratori Mapei per la conoscenza specifica dei materiali costituenti i paramenti murali, si è intervenuti a restaurare le cortine murarie con i prodotti e i sistemi Mapei più idonei.

In the ancient town centre of Copertino, a small town in the Salento area in the Apulia region of South-East Italy, the Angioino Castle has been the subject of an intervention of conservation and protection work on the stone surfaces of the external curtain walls in which Mapei took part.
After a 3D laser scanning analysis and an in-depth study of the materials used specifically for the facing walls, carried out by the Mapei laboratories, the restoration work on the curtain walls has been executed with Mapei’s most appropriate products and systems.
